delicious food, well presented, and tastes authentic. i’m not sure why it’s not packed here since they literally have so much food!! i’m definitely coming back since it’s very accessible for me location wise 😍 ( my tab was $60, not including tip and also salted egg yolk buns to go for $8 / 3 piece)

Let’s start with the good. This place has the old school, Cantonese/Hong Kong dishes, and they are delicious. Not like typical takeout/delivery places these days. I have tried their roast pork over rice and their yung chow fried rice. Both as I used to get at Wing Wong on Mott street. Now for the bad. They don’t deliver, which I think is crazy in this post-covid time we live in. Now here is why I’m writing this review. They close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:10 and was hoping to sit down to have the meal hot. Unfortunately, I was told they don’t do eat-in after 8. It says nothing about this on their google page and is pretty ridiculous considering the competition and the fact they were empty. In the end, their food is really good, but they need to work on their service. And they need to deliver, at least to immediate area.

This place has been on my radar for a while, and I finally made it there. Overall, a very positive experience. Unlike many other spots, the food here tastes like authentic Chinese cuisine. Stepping through the door truly feels like being transported to Guangzhou. The menu design needs a serious refresh, as it looks a bit subpar right now. But overall, definitely worth a visit for an authentic meal

After tried this restaurant multiple times, We found that the quality and flavor of the dishes here is not stable because they change chef frequently and we will not come to this restaurant any more in the future after tonight's bad experience. We ordered Ma La Xiang Guo (spicy stir-fry pot) and the first bite almost made me nausea because of the tons of sugar they put in it. There is barely spicy flavor in the spicy stir-fry pot and only sweetness. This is one of the most expensive dish on their menu but very disappointing. We had this dish here two months ago which was satisfying. The waitress said a different chef cook tonight. We complained about the intolerable sweetness but they don't care. Additionally, There was one time they gave us free soup which had turned sour. We mentioned that the soup turned bad and they don't care either.

Yay for authentic Cantonese food in Bay Ridge! Food is great here and very authentic. I know this because I sat in the back table right next to the kitchen and I heard the chefs conversing in Cantonese - it’s as if I’m back in Hong Kong! My go-tos are the Beef Chow Ho Fun and Jumbo Shrimps w/ Walnut in Mayonnaise. The staff is also extremely friendly, my child caused an accident and made a mess on the floor. We were hesitant to let them know but when we did, they practically apologized to us! Will definitely come back and try additional dishes! Update December 11, 2025: They have the best lunch deal in town with the $15 Jumbo Shrimp & Walnuts in Mayonnaise that comes with soup and rice when dining in. First of all, you can’t find this in any lunch special in other restaurants and the regular order would cost upwards for $25. And the Jumbo Shrimp & Walnuts in Mayonnaise was outstanding. The shrimp were big, juicy, and coated in a silky sweet-tangy mayo. The candied walnuts added an irresistible crunch, and the fresh broccoli brought a bright, balanced contrast to the richness of the dish. Every bite was delicious and beautifully executed.
